Details
The Togo® Collection (1973) has been an icon of comfort and style for 50 years. Eliminating the typical base or frame, designer Michel Ducaroy created Togo's distinctive slouchy form from foam and generous channeled quilting. Ducaroy – one of Ligne Roset’s first and most notable designers – envisioned Togo as a seat for afternoon siestas or relaxing evenings spent in the greatest of comfort. Made in France.

Michel Ducaroy
Born in 1925 to a long line of French furniture makers, Michel Ducaroy trained at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts before leaving the family business to go solo in 1952. He quickly became one of the most prominent designers to work with Ligne Roset, producing pieces that pushed the boundaries of modern design. In 1973 he cemented himself in design history with the modular, all-foam Togo seating.
