Product Recalls

The safety and quality of our products is of the utmost importance to us. When product recalls for safety or quality issues are necessary, we aim to facilitate seamless and swift resolutions by first emailing customers impacted by these recalls. 

If you posses a recalled product listed below and have not yet been contacted by a Herman Miller representative, we ask that you please:

• Stop using the product immediately.
• Place the product in an area where a child cannot access it.
• Email Herman Miller (DWR's parent company) at recall_info@hermanmiller.com, or call us toll free at 1-800-338-2107 from 9am-5pm ET (M-F) to initiate a refund and free product pickup.

Product Safety Notice and Recall: Lauki 32", 40.5", 47" and 60" Wide Dressers

While we have received no reports of safety concerns, injuries, or tip-overs, we have voluntarily initiated a recall of the Lauki Dressers. The recall is prompted by a change in a stability standard issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials (“ASTM”), an international organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for the furniture industry, among others. The Lauki Dressers do not meet a new ASTM stability standard that went into effect on August 1, 2019. This means the product could tip over and fall, causing a risk of personal injury or death, particularly to children

Product Safety Notice and Recall: Nelson Thin Edge Group and Nelson Basic Cabinet Series

While we have received no reports of safety concerns, injuries, or tip-overs, we have voluntarily initiated a recall of the Nelson Basic Cabinet, Nelson Thin Edge Chest, Double Dresser, Cabinets, and Buffet ("Recalled Products"). This only includes products that were purchased in 2011 or later; vintage Nelson products are not included in this recall. The recall is prompted by a change in a stability standard issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials (“ASTM”), an international organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for the furniture industry, among others.

Product Safety Notice and Recall: Arc Furniture Collection

While we have received no reports of injuries, we have voluntarily initiated a recall of the Arc Collection Furniture. Surface paint on the furniture contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, posing a risk of lead poisoning. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. The chairs, barstools and tables were sold in blue, white and yellow colors at DWR studios and outlets nationwide and online at www.dwr.com and www.Ebay.com.
