TV stands, sometimes called media consoles, resemble credenzas and typically feature additional storage components in their bases, including shelves, drawers, or cabinets for electronics, media accessories, and other entertainment essentials. Unlike entertainment centers, TV stands do not have hutches. Mid-century modern TV stands are typically made of wood and showcase splayed Wegner legs.
Entertainment Centers
Entertainment centers are large TV stands with hutches and/or built-in shelves designed to encircle a wall-mounted television. How to Choose a Media Storage Solution
Living room media storage comes in an array of sizes, materials, and finishes to fit nearly any decor and preference. With limited space, a small media console or cabinet would likely make most sense, but it can still provide what’s needed to organize electronic gear and store media.
